We are a group committed with the challenges of the society.

From the Fagor Group, we push forward the transition into the sustainability in the small collaboration with different social agents. We work all together for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG).

We have been more than 20 years pushing forward Basque plans in our cooperatives, so that the people can work in Basque.

Through the mobility plans, we promote the sustainable labor movility, pushing forward the use of bicycle or scooter, the public transport, and the sharing car.

We push forward the sustainable development of Debagoiena

With the knowledge that the transition of Debagoiena to the sustainability requires of the collaboration between different agents of the region (educational places, institutions, companies, and social agents), in 2018 the Fagor Group decided to push forward the network of sustainability Debagoiena 2030.

Through the “Gizabidea Fundazioa” we continue more than 40 years collaborating with educational cooperative agents of Debagoiena, collaborating in the financiation of the necessary infrastructures to offer a better education to children and young people of the region.

We support social initiatives from the Basque Country

Projects helped by Fagor Herrigintza in 2025:

Project to renew the computer equipment that was not using in centers and transfer them to schools in Marocco, Sahara and Senegal.

Association for the leisure and cultural activities with young people with functional diversity, in order to offer them the same opportunities as other young people.
